As it stands there isn't any way to make quassel use a proxy for the webkit previews of links.

plz, don't implement it with your own proxy handling, just use system settings
http_proxy on linux
Internetsettings of IE on Windows
... something on MacOS :)

Since QT 4.5, this can be done with http://doc.trolltech.com/4.5/qnetworkproxyfactory.html#systemProxyForQuery
