I need some feedback here:
Is it enough to make this on a per core basis (1) or does this have to be on a per core user basis (2)?
The difference is, that in 1) it should be enought to dedicate a subdirectory of quassels datadir to CA certificates.
In 2) there needs to be a gui interface (similar to the ssl key/cert part of the identities settings which has been recently introduced).
1) might has the disadvantage that the CA certs are used for all users. Does that matter? Is this a privacy / trust issue? Solution 1) would be very easily doable.

I would do on a user basis, because of privacy, since I do not want to expose certain CA-certificates to all users.
