hello,
If you drag the topics panel and drop it again, the size of it will be permanently increased: you won't be able to resize it to a smaller size.
This "effect" can also be triggered by disabling and enabling it from the "View" menu.
Here using Qt 4.5, but I also remember encountering this with Qt 4.4.3

This is probably obsolete. Sounds like a theme engine bug anyway.
