it would be nice to be able to 'search' for channels/query's via regex in the 'search' box.
ex:
quassel|gnupg
to show both the quassel channel and the gnupg channel ...

Good catch on this issue. Having regex support directly in the channel/query filter (as described in ticket #1522) would make managing busy networks or large lists of active queries significantly easier. Hopefully, this gets picked up for a future release cycle—it's a much-needed quality-of-life improvement for power users.
