Description

I am using Quassel on a Gnome desktop. Gnome is phasing out the status notification icons ("systray"), so I am trying to use Quassel with the systray icon disabled. However, there is a problem: I'd like to know if there are any unread highlights/queries. Usually, in Gnome, this seems to work by sending a notification -- if I ignore the notification, it sticks around in a drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the system bar. That works very well for Thunderbird (with the GNotification setting). However, with Quassel, the notifications disappear from that menu -- it seems that Quassel doesn't just use a timeout, but instead removes the notification again.

It should, instead, just set a timeout and let the DE handle the rest.
