There was bug in 0.9.2 on Windows XP
http://bugs.quassel-irc.org/issues/1231
In 0.9.2 version Notifications didnt work. (not audio not popup and not taskbar button alert)
I was advised to try new unstable version. I installed:
quassel-x86-setup-master-47a6910.exe or v.10-pre (0.10+77 git-47a6910*) as noted in Help/About
Now notification work with one exception. When somebody PM/query you for first time there is no notification. On second and all consequential posts notifications work. If you delete buffer for that person then on first message notification doesnt work again. So it seems that when buffer is created there is no notification, but after buffer already exist notifications work as they should.
