Quassel IRC

From time to time my core is disconnected from the IRC server following my internet connection resetting. I'm not sure why this happens, but I don't think it's relevant; though I will note that it usually results in a new IP address being assigned to my WAN connection. Note that my client remains connected to my core when this happens as they've both on the same LAN.

After this happens, other users on the server I connect to report that I continue to appear to be idle or offline. Other quassel users describe it as my nick appearing grey: note that these users aren't using the same core as me.

Changing my nick has no effect, nor does typing messages into the channel or PMs to those users. The only way to reset my status appears to be to manually reconnect to the IRC server, which is something that I'd obviously rather not have to do.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 for both client and server, and the quassel version for both is 0.7.1-0ubuntu1.
