Description

Attached is a report that was generated using KDE debug assistant. the only thing I can add is that I had several tabs in firefox (9.0.1) open concurrently with quassel. quassel is configured to show a thumbnail of the link when u hover over it I clicked on a https://link to Google docs and it crashed. I suspect that this is due to the ssl connection. As i was preparing this, thanks to gdb I read the Quassel link on ssl support. I have not configured quassel to support ssl as yet. Nevertheless, if I have correctly identified the reason for this crash, this is a rather inelegant way to tell the user that something is amiss. .

It's just Yet Another crash within webkit, it should have nothing to do with SSL. If it's caused by the javascript on the particular site, then it might be fixed in git, but i'll just leave this report open for now.

I am unable to reproduce this issue on Windows 10 20H2 or Fedora 34, both running Quassel 0.13.1 or newer.

I suspect that at some point, this was fixed without realizing, perhaps the result of a code overhaul.

I'm going to close this issue, but if you continue to have this issue please feel free to reopen it.
